PORT DENISON AT HULL., —.The Commonwealth and Dominion Line’s steamer Port Denison, which left Auckland after loading on July 1 and sailed finally from Wellington for Montevideo and London, arrived at Hull yesterday., KINTYRE WITH PHOSPHATES.— With a full cargo of phosphates from Nauru, the steamer Kintyre is due at Auckland from Nauru next Tuesday. The vessel will berth ,at King’s Wharf for discharge.
PAUA SAILS TO-MORROW. —The Shell Company’s motor coastal tanker Paua is to be dispatched from Auckland to-morrow afternoon for Wellington. The vessel is discharging at Westerr^Wharf. ANGER DUE TO MORROW.—At noon to-morrow the tanker Spinanger arrives at Auckland from San Pedro, via Sydney, Melbourne, and Wellington, to discharge the remainder of her bulk oil cargo into the Atlantic Union Oil Company’s tanks, at Freeman’s Bay. The vessel berths at Western Wharf. THE PARRACOMBE’S MOVEMENTS. —Tho steamer Parracombe left Port Chalmers yesterday morning for Westport, where she will replenish bunkers preparatory to sailing for Makatea. The vessel has been discharging Australian hardwood at New Zealand ports. SOUTHERN CROSS SAILING. —Preparatory to sailing on Tuesday next for the mission stations of the South-west Pacific, the Melanesian Amission steamer Southern Cross shifted from Western Wharf to Queen’s Wharf yesterday to complete refitting. PORT DUNEDIN REPORTS. The C. and D. Line reecived a wireless message yesterday from the Port Dunedin, en route from London, stating that the vessel will arrive at Lyttelton to-morrow afternoon. She has general cargo to discharge at Lyttelton, Dunedin and Napier. DEVON DUE ON TUESDAY. The Federal Line’s steamer Devon is expected to arrive at Auckland from Liverpool next Tuesday. The vessel will berth at Queen’s Wharf to commence discharge of her cargo of general .merchandise from ports on the west coast of England.
THE RUAHINE’S PASSAGE. The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the steamer Ruahine, en route from London to Wellington, arrived at Aladeira last Saturday and sailed again the same day. The vessel is due at Wellington on October 10.
WAIRUNA TO-MORROW. Due at Auckland at noon to-morrow from the Pacific Coast ports, via Papeete, the Union Company advises that the transpacific cargo steamer Wairuna later proceeds to Napier, thence Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth to complete her discharge. She is to berth at the Cantral Wharf.
MATAROA FROM HOME.—The Shaw. Savill and Albion Company advises that its liner, Alataroa, after loading at London, will now leave Southampton on September 28 for Wellington with passengers only for that port, and then will proceed to Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Timaru to put out her cargo. The ship is due at Wellington on November 1.
THE SUSSEX. There is some doubt as to iXrhen the Union Company’s Indian trader Sussex will make port. Originally expected at Auckland to-day with a cargo of general merchandise from Calcutta, Penang, Singapore and Samarang, the vessel has wirelessed that sh<e may be short of coal. Yesetrday the Kaitoke, en route from Newcastle to Auckland, was advised to wait for the Sussex and to tranship coal if it was needed. Both vessels will probably arrive to-morrow.
lONIC FOR DISCHARGE.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion Line's steamer lonic is now due at Auckland from Wellington on September 30 to continue discharge other cargo of general merchandise from England. CQRINTHIC COMPLETING. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises that the liner Corinthic armed at Wellington yesterday from Timaru to complete her loading for Home. • She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on September 26 at daybreak tor Southampton and London via Panama. GALLIC’S MOVEMENTS.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Gallic leaves Wellington to-day for Napier, thence Gisborne and Auckland to fill up. She is due here on September 23 and is scheduled to sail Anally from this port on September 28 for New fork, Boston, Halifax, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow ,via Panama. L. D. Nathan and Co. will act as the local agents. PAKEHA AT WANGANUI. —L. D. Nthan and Co. has been advised that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Pakeha arrived at Wanganui yesetrday from Wellington and leaves to-morrow for Napier, thence Waikokopu and Auckland to complete her loading. She is due here on September 21 and is expected to sail finally from this port on September 28 for London via Montevideo and Teneriffe. REMUERA SAILS. —With passengers, mails and cargo, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Kemuera sailed from Auckland early this afternoon for Southampton and London, via Panama.
