YOUTHS BREAK WINDOW
QUARTET ADMONISHED The result of the last Rugby test so delighted a quartet of youths at Takapuna on August 11 that they broke a window in a fit of exuberance. According to Mr. J. J. Sullivan, who defended the boys, who were charged with disorderly behaviour, they rang up the police station and waited for a constable to come and take their names and addresses. The window had been paid for. “The object of this prosecution is to keep boys off this particu! ir corner, where they are a great nuisance,” said Sub-Inspector McCarthy. The four youths, C. T. Nicholson, G. A. Rappard, N. Guiniven and W. Bolgdegg, were admonished and discharged.
