350 AIRPLANES UP

MANOEUVRES IN FRANCE COLOSSAL SPECTACLE (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) PARIS. Tuesday. A series of colossal air manoeuvres, modelled on the recent air battle in London, witl be held in the neighbourhood of Rambouillet on Friday and Saturday. Sir Samuel Hoare. British Secretary of State for Air, and his staff will attend by special invitation of the French Government. More than 350 airplanes will take part in the manoeuvres. An anti-air-craft regiment will fire blank shells. One exercise will be the rapid evacuation of Le Bourget airdrome after an “enemy” attack, which w-ill be supposed to render Lo Bourget untenable.
