Mr. D. Marshall, veterinary surgeon In the Department of Agriculture, who lias been stationed at Palmerston North for the last 12 months, has been transferred to Hamilton.

Mr. C. R. Colquhoun, the Australasian manager of the North British and Mercantile Insurance Company, Ltd., lias arrived in Wellington on a short visit of inspection to the Dominion.

The Rev. G. W. Lochore’s call to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Feilding, has been upheld unanimously by the Wanganui Presbytery. Mr. Lochore is at present stationed in Whangarei.—P. A.

Mr. H. S. Peisley, who has been secretary and manager of the Commercial Travellers’ Association and Club of New South Wales for the last ten years, has resigned his position, having been appointed manager of the Hotel Sydney.

Sir Watson CheJ-ne, Professor of Clinical Surgery, King’s College, London, will visit New Zealand toward the end of the year, and will attend the annual meeting of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association. to be held in Wellington early in 1929.
