KOROMIKO LEAVES. The ex-Union Company’s steamer Koromiko, which has been sold to Chinese buyers, left Westport last Thursday and will proceed to Newcastle to load coal for Hong-Kong. NITRATES FROM CHILE. The steamer Hannington Court, 5,184 tons, has. been chartered to load nitrates at Iquique, Chile, for discharge at Auckland and Australian ports.

KAWAU’S ITINERARY.—The Northern Company advises that the Kawau’s departure -for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha has been postponed till 10 a.m. to-morrow. She is due back again at noon on Friday, and at midnight the same night will leave for Warkworth.

CANADIAN TRANSPORTER SAILS. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Transporter sailed for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin last evening to complete discharging cargo from Montreal and to load for 'her Homeward voyage. She will later return to Auckland to fill up with general cargo for New York. Boston and Montreal. ROTORUA CLEARS BALBOA. En route from New Zealand the New Zealand Shipping Company has received cable advice that the liner Rotorua arrived at Balboa on September 7 and sailed the same day in continuation of her voyage to Southampton and London. The liner left Wellington on August IS.

MAILS HOME.—The Chief Postmaster advises that the mails which left Wellington on August 14 last, per the R.M.S. Maunganui, via San Francisco, arrived in London on September* 11. KAITOKE DUE TO-MORROW. —Radio advice received by the local office of the Union Company states that the collier Kaitoke is expected to arrive at Auckland , to-morrow afternoon from Newcastle. The vessel pays off at Auckland this trip. SYDNEY STEAMERS.—The Mararaa leaves Auckland at 3 p.m. on Friday for Sydney and the Maheno leaves Wellington at noon the same day for Sydney. The Ulimaroa sails from Sydney at noon on Friday for Wellington. All the three vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning. KAZEMBE LEAVES NEW YORK. Advice has been received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company that the A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer Kazembe left New York on September 8 with cargo for -discharge at Suva, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Suva on October 11 and at Auckland about October 20. SUSSEX DUE FRlDAY.—According to a radio message received by the local office of the Union Company, the chartered steamer Sussex is expected to arrive at Auckland on Friday from Calcutta, via Penang, Singapore and Samarang. After discharge here, the vessel proceeds to Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff to complete. R EMU ERA SAILS FRIDAY. —The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that passengers leaving by the Remuera on Friday are to embark by 11 a.m., and baggage for the hold is to be alongside the vessel by 8 a.m. the same day. The Remuera sails from the Central Wharf at Auckland at noon on Friday for Southampton and London, via Panama. WAIRUNA REPORTS AGAIN.—A further radi6 message received by the local office of the Union Company states that the trans-Pacific cargo steamer Wairuna is expected to arrive at Auckland at noon on Saturday from the Pacific Coast ports, via Papeete. From here the Wairuna proceeds to Napier,, thence Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth, to complete discharge. GALLIC AT WELLINGTON.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises that, the Gallic arrived at Wellington this morning from Wanganui and leaves tomorrow for Napier, thence Gisborne and Auckland, to fill up. She; is due here on September 21 and is scheduled to sail finally from this port on September 25 for New York, Boston, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Panama. L. D. Nathan and Company will act as the local loadips agents. WAIPAHI IN PORT.—An arrival at Auckland yesterday afternoon was the Union Company’s Island fruit steamer Waipahi from the Cook Islands. The vessel berthed at Prince’s Wharf, and at 4 p.m. to-morrow is to be'dispatched again for Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Atia, Mauke, and Mangaia. The vessel experienced strong southerly winds and rough following seas to Rarotonga. She discharged and loaded at Rarotonga, Mauke, Atiu and Aitutaki. On the return voyage to Auckland she left Rarotonga on September 5, and experienced moderate weather until nearing the New Zealand coast, when strong head winds and rough seas prevailed.

ARRIVAL TO-DAY RARAWA (7.45 a.m.), 1,077 tons, Bark, from New Plymouth. The Rarawa, which arrived at Onehunga this morning from New Plymouth, sails again at 3.30 p.m. to-morrow on the return trip. The Arapawa arrived at Onehunga last evening from Raglan, Kawhia and Port Waikato. She is to be dispatched at three o’clock this afternoon for Wanganui. The Hauturu is due at Onehunga tomorrow morning from Hokianga. She sails again at 4 p.m. the same day for Raglan, Kawhia and Port Waikato, and on returning proceeds to Hokianga.
