APPEAL TO GOVERNMENT SURVEY OF ROUTE Mr. G. O’Halloran, the actingchairman of the Auckland Harbour Bridge Association, who with other members of the deputation attended at Wellington recently in support of the petition of 25,000 people for a bridge over the harbour, was informed by the Prime Minister that the Government would be prepared to instruct its engineers to make a flying survey of the bridge route, in order to enable the association’s estimates of cost to be checked.
