WRECKAGE ON WEST COAST

MAY BE FROM ISABELLA DE FRAINE (From Our Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, Monday. A quantity of wreckage was discovered by Mr. R, Marsh, a resident of Bagly’s, West Coast, on the beach within a quarter of a mile to the north of Chase’s Gorge, on Saturday. It is believed that it is a part of the ill-fated Isabella de Fraine, which has drifted from the Hokianga Bar. The wreckage comprises about 30ft of the main boom, about 12ft of the gaff, and a quantity of torn canvas, ropes and tackle. A portion of the main deck, about six feet in length, is attached to the wreckage by tackle running through an eye-bolt. Another piece of the main boom, about 12ft, is also in the gorge.
