PASSING THROUGH FIRE AND WATER.—The Commonwealth and Dominion liner Port Napier berthed at King’s Wharf this morning. A dangerous fire broke out in the hold of the vessel, on approaching Fiji, and the master decided to make for Pago-Pago, where the fire was suppressed, the Governor of American Samoa lending his assistance.
