CARD PARTY
OTAHUHU AFFAIR A card evening followed by a dance was given by the Railway Social Club in the Otahuhu Public Hall on Saturday evening. The card winners were Mrs. J. Ellis 1, Mrs. McCauaffe (booby) and Mr. Douglas 1, and Mr. Maker (booby). The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mrs. S. R. Cole and Mr. J. Papesch. Among the guests were: Mrs. Segar in mist blue silk and lace with pink shawl. Mrs. J. Empen, wearing opal blue figured silk. Mrs. S. Cole, in fawn crepe de chine and black shawl. Mrs. Hurle, iris mauve georgette and lace. Mrs. Toll, black crepe de chine. Mrs. Walker, navy crepe de chine. Miss Walker, geranium pink satin. Miss Rykers, iris mauve crepe de chine. Miss W. Symond, lavender georgette frock. Miss Morris, blush pink silk crepe. Miss Riddel, leaf green crepe de chine. Miss Cook, cherry red georgette frock.
