PRINCE EDWARD

“THE WAY OF ALL FLESH” Bebe Daniels’ enjoyable comedy, “Feel My Pulse,” will be shown at the Prince Edward Theatre this evening, with Richard Arlen and William Powel in the supporting cast. Bebe’s father, in his will, has left her a sanitarium on a secluded island. He had been a health crank, and so is Bebe. From the day of her birth, she has been led to believe that she is an invalid, and she goes to ludicrous extremes to safeguard her health. An uncle comes to visit Bebe. They attempt to cure her by “athletic” treatment.” She is driven in desperation to make her first visit to the island sanitarium in charge of the caretaker. There she meets Arlen and Powell, and finds that the sanitarium is filled with “patients.” They—and Arlen — are all members of a gang of rumrunners headed by Powell. “The Way Of All Flesh,” starring Emil Jannings, will also be shown. Dolores Del Rio is again cast in a part that is said to give her opportunities to show her great and alluring charm as well as histrionic ability. Her latest characterisation is that of the half-caste gril, “Toni,” in “The Gateway of the Moon.” This is a story of railroad building in South American jungles, in which Miss Del Rio plays the starring part of a half primitive girl of the wilds, in love with a young English engineer.
