No change was reported to-day in egg prices on the City Markets. Hen eggs are bringing 1s 2d to i 1s 3d a dozen; intermediate, 1s 1d to 1s 2d; and duck, 1s 2d to 1s 3d. j Supplies are heavy. Farmers’ butter in the Marts is in moderate supply and sells at 1s 4d to Is 6d. First grade factory j butter in the shops sells for cash at 1s 9d a lb; second grade, 1s 3d alb. In the shops, for cash, sirloin fetches 10d a lb; prime ribs, 7d a lb; corned round, 8d a lb; beefsteak, 7d a lb; rump steak. 1s 2d a lb; gravy beef, 6d a lb; and whole loins, a lb.
