MUSSOLINI’S ASSAILANTS (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) ROME, Saturday. The attempted assassination of the Prime Minister of Italy, Signor Mussolini, by the youth Anteo Amboni, at Bologna in 1926, is recalled by the military tribunal to-day sentencing Mammolo Amboni, Anteo’s father, and Virginia Amboni, the youth’s aunt, to 30 years’ imprisonment each. A brother, Tudovicco, was acquitted on the ground of insufficient evidence. Signor Mussolini was among the witnesses. Evidence was given which sought to show that Anteo was under the influence of his family.
