WANGANUI MEETING LIGHT TRAINING OPERATIONS Press Association WANGANUI, To-day. The weather was fine for training operations this morning, but it was an off morning, with little fast work done. Catkin beat Baskier easily over six furlongs in 1.20. Roman Lake and Air Laddie sprinted two furlongs in 25 3-5, and Perseus, Francolin and Dresden China two furlongs in 28 2-5 comfortably. Star Stranger. Town Bird. Kiosk, Talisker and Banket all did good work* -ing gallops.
