GRAND OPERA SEASON
t
SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS Final arrangements have been completed by the Fuller management for the comfort and enjoyment of its patrons during the grand opera season at St. James. In order that late-comers may not interfere in any way with those who have come early enough to be seated before eight o’clock, it has been decided to close the theatre doors immediately the orchestral overture commences, and no one will be admitted until the end of the first scene. Patrons are therefore requested to be seated early. This is in fairness to those who have come to enjoy the music without interruption, and have taken their seats before eight o’clock. The overture to each opera will commence punctually at that hour. The opening opera, “II Trovatore,” is expected to conclude at eleven o’clock, and a full service of cars to all parts has been arranged. The management desires it to be known that there is quite a mistaken impression in many quarters that the whole theatre has been sold out for the first three operas—“ll Trovatore,” “Traviata,” and “Rigoletto.” It is true that the grand circle has been sold out for those operas, but there are still plenty of seats available for booking in the dress circle and orchestral stalls for any of the operas named, and intending patrons will be wise to secure these early. There will also be 5s unreserved stall seats on sale at the theatre from seven o’clock each evening.
A special caretaker, appointed by tlie A.A.A., will be on duty in Lome Street and the Civic Square during the opera season for the convenience of motorists.
