Cheque for £IOO Paid to Sun Subscriber’s Widow

FREE INSURANCE HELPS A STRICKEN FAMILY

On Saturday last the late Mr. J. H. D. Smith, of 43 Chester Avenue. Grey Lynn, was cycling home, when he was run down by a motor van at the foot of Warwick Avenue. Mr. Smith re ceived very severe injuries and died in the Auckland Hospital next day. He was a Sun subscriber and as a result of his forethought in placing bis name on The Sun Free Insuranceregister his widow was entitled to £IOO compensation. Her claim was admitted and on Ui--sth inst. a cheque was forwarded her by The Sun.
