ROUND THE CHURCHES
At the Associated Church of Christ, Ponsonby Road, Dr. F. W. Burnham, of the U.S.A., president of the United Christian Missionary Society, will preach to-morrow evening. Services will be held as usual at Dominion Road. Richmond. Onehunga, Devonport, Avondale. Pukekohe, Mount Albert and Point Chevalier.
The Rt. Rev. Bishop Anderson wall preach to-morrow morning in St. Alatthew’s, Wellesley Street. In the evening the Rev. Charles Chandler will speak.
Both services to-morrow in Si Alary’s, Parnell, will be conducted by Canon Percival James. Before and after evensong Air. Edgar Randal will give an organ recital.
The Rev. W. Gilmour will conduct both services in the Edendale Presbyterian Church to-morrow. At the Somervell Church the Rev. J. Pattison will preach in- the morning and the Rev. S. Hill in the evening.
Airs. Harris-Roberts will give an address at the Spiritual Scientists’ Church, Newton, to-morrow evening on “The Power of the Spirit.”
Services will be held as usual at the Alethodist City Mission to-morrow, in the evening the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour will give an address.
The First Church of Christ. Scientist, will hold morning and evening services to-morrow. The subject of the addresses ■will be “Substance.”
The Rev. C. H. Laws will preach at to-morrow morning’s service, in St. John’s Methodist Church, Ponsonby. In the evening the Rev. Arthur Mitchell will conduct a musical service, his subject being “The Singing Saviour.”
At the morning service in the Grange Road Baptist Church to-morrow the Rev. George Jackson, of the New Zealand Alliance, will speak. Mr. Bernard Wilson, a Baptist College student, will speak in the evening on “The Thief Who Stole Paradise.”
The Progressive Church of Spiritualists, Alma Street, Newmarket, will hold a sacred spiritual circle to-morrow evening under the leadership of Alra. Hudson.
Mr. John Harris, of the Royal Sailors’ Rest, Portsmouth, will speak at the afternoon service at the Y.M.C.A. tomorrow.
Solemn High Mass will be celebrated to-morrow morning at St. Benedict’s to mark Eucharistic Congress Sunday. At. the evening service the Rev. Father Gill will preach.
