ELECTION OF OFFICERS THE ABBEY CHANGES HANDS Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. At a meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Board the following officers were elected: —President, Mr. J. H. Williams: vice-president, Mr. H. W. Kitchingham; hon. treasurer, Air. W. Hayward; licensing committee, Messrs. W. IT. Denton and W. Hayward; appeal committee, Messrs. Williams, Kitchingham and Hayward. A. E. Adams, of Otahuhu, telegraphed stating that he had arranged to sell The Abbey to M. J. Moodabe. Ho asked whether the association would grant the transfer. He also wrote stating that the dispute over The Abbey was settled as far as the courts were concerned. It was decided to reply stating that the application for registration would be considered when it came before the board.
