Cable Car Dashes Down Steep Hill
CAPSIZE AVERTED ONE PASSENGER HURT Prrss Association DUNEDIN. To-day Breaking away 75 yards up a steep hill in Roslyn Valley, a citybound corporation cable car this morning ran back at high speed. When the brakes finally held at a curve, the car jumped the rails, turning slightly on one side. The foot- ; board prevented a complete capsize. Four passengers were in the car. but the only one injured was Miss Mildred Walker, who was taken to hospital with head injuries. Her condition. however, is not considered" serious.
