MOUNT HOBSON CAMP

OBJECTIONS POSSIBLE There is a possibility that there will bo opposition to any proposal brought before Parliament to enable the use of portion of Mount Hobson reserve for a motorist’s camping ground. The objectors, though they did not appear to view the proposal with misgiving when it nearly reached fruition a year ago, are now asserting that the camp will be an eyesore, and a nuisance, and would be too near the city and residential areas. The objectors have a poor opinion of the habits of motorists and assert that the basin in which it is proposed to put the camp will be littered with papers, bottles, and rubbish in spite of all any caretaker may do.
