FOUNDER OF AUCKLAND
TRIBUTE FROM CHILDREN The memory of Captain Hobson, founder of Auckland, will be honoured on Monday afternoon by the children of the Newton Central School, who will place wreaths on the grave in the Grafton Cemetery. The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m., and several addresses will be delivered.
