Well p] beat whites of eggs with a little n] icing sugar, and put on mixture p] sprinkled with chopped almonds. CHEESE CAKES Make some good pastry, line patty pans, then fill with the following mixture:—Two oz butter and one teacup of sugar; beat to a cream. Add two well-beaten eggs, one teacup of flour, one teacup of cornflour, one small teaspoon soda, two teaspoons of cream of tartar. A few drops of essence of lemon.
