RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“LOVE AND LEARN” The story of a girl who decided to get into trouble with the police, entitled “Love and Learn,” will be shown again this evening at the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) Theatres, with Esther Ralston in the leading role. Her first attempts with a member of the police force are not at all successful. However, when she backs her car right into the police station, she certainly does start trouble, and enjoys the chase of a lifetime. In the haste to elude her pursuers and lead them a merry chase, she crashes through the election campaign stand of Judge Anthony Cowles. It is not till she reaches her home that she finds that th 6 judge is occupying the back seat, much the worse for wear. As a “dry” candidate, he had been destroying liquor on his platform. To the seemingly unconscious man, she gives the contents of one of the bottles she finds in the car. Seeing the effect of her arrival on her father, she takes the now drunken judge into the house. “Happiness Ahead,” Colleen Moore’s latest picture, will also be shown.
