How is this for inconsistent Rugby form? Auckland beat Canterbury by 12 points to 10, and then, with a
weaker team (some of the better players having returned to Auckland) it beat Otago by 26 points to 9. Canterbury beat South Canterbury by 29 to 9, and Timaru) by 21 points to 16. Canterbury then was beaten by Otago, which scored 31 to 9. and South Canterbury scored 27 to 20 against Otago.
