DUCE REFUSES FORTUNE
MONEY GIVEN TO STATE BEQUEST BY A SIGNORA (United P.A. —By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Pres 3 Association.) ROME, Wednesday. The Prime Minister, Signor Mussolini, has waived his claim to a large fortune which was bequeathed to him by Signora Cortella, and has handed the money to the public treasury. Signor Mussolini was given her entire fortune by the testatrix’s will, after the payment of numerous legacies, including one of £II,OOO to charities.
