WORLD’S CONSUMPTION SHOWS DECREASE (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and K.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11.15 a.m. LONDON, Wed. The executive of the Cotton-Skin-ners Manufacturers* Association reports that for the year ended July 31. the world’s cotton consumption was 25,540,000 bales, a decrease of 341,000 compared with the previous year. The United States, with 3,180,000 bales, was the chief consumer. Britain was next with 1,393,000.
