UPTON’S YACHT, SHAMROCK KING’S CUTTER SUCCEEDS British Official Wireless. RUGBY, Tuesday. In the course of the present yacht racing season, which is drawing to a close. Sir Thomas Lipton’s craft Shamrock has won 13 first prizes, sever) second prizes, and one third prize. This has been its most successful year. King George’s cutter Britannia comes next with nine firsts, five seconds and five thirds. Sir Thomas still aspires to win the America Cup and intends to have another yacht built for an attempt in 1930.
