SUCCESSFUL YEAR’S WORK At the annual meeting of the Mauku Athletic Club. Mr. * R. McLennan, M.P.; vice-patrons, Messrs. T. D. Bailey, IT. Wily, a. Parris, W. Howe, W. Batty, F. Perkins and W. Hood; president. Mr. "W. E. Johns; vice-presidents, Messis. T. Short and R. Sheppard; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. B. Walker; delegate to Northern Athletic Union, Mr. W. Finlay; hon. solicitor, Mr. M. R* Grierson; auditor, Mr. R. F* Brown. It was decided to hold the annual sports as usual on New Year’s Day, and an offer by Mr. R. K. Membery of the use of liis ground for the purpose again was accepted with thanks. The following sports officials were appointed; Local handicappers, Messrs. G. H. Slack and W. Sommerville; starter, W. Finlay; assistant-starter, Mr. C. G. Stichbury.
