Mr. Ramsay Macdonald, Leader of the British Labour Party, completing his tour of Western Canada, announced that he is relinquishing his seat for South Wales at the next General Election. He has bc»en invited to contest the Seaham Harbour Division of County Durham, in place of the sitting member, Mr. Sidney Webh, who is retiring to private life. The change is calculated to save Mr. Macdonald from the strain of a hard fight for the seat.
