DOMINION BOWLERS MEET

OFFICERS FOR SEASON Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. The annual meeting of the Dominion Bowling Association was held to-day. Mr. S. Stone, who presided, alluded to the excellent manner in which Mr. Benzie, the retiring president, had carried out his duties. Mr. Shallcrass was elected secretary, Mr. E. A. Liddle, auditor, and the chairman and the Wellington members were elected as the executive. A motion by Mr. Marlow that an official tester be appointed, who would give the whole of his time for a period of five months, during which he should visit every centre, was lost. It was decided that the rule-s should be altered to allow the incoming council to take office at a much earlier date than heretofore. A motion by Mr. R. Pilkington (Hamilton), that the Dominion Bowling Association should allow councillors hotel expenses when attending meetings outside of home towns, was lost by a narrow margin.
