PARKER—HAWKE For her marriage at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, Parnell, yesterday afternoon, to Mr. Vivian. Claude i Parker, youngest son of Mrs. Me- j -Namara, of Gerrard Street, Phila- I delphia, XJ.S.A., Nelsonia Marguerete, j eldeat daughter of Mrs. and the late . ir. v\. H. Hawke, of Pukekohe, chose a blcie ehenille jumper suit relieved with silver, over which was worn a smart coat trimmed with grey fur, lending simplicity to a quiet ceremony, to which only intimate friends were invited. Miss Isla Hawke, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, wearing a smart jersey suit of lotus rose relieved with gold. The bride was given away bv her uncle, Mr. Percy Boyd, of Pukekohe, and Mr. R. Bowden attended the bridegroom. The Rev. Father Molloy, of Pukekohe, officiated. Subsequently a reception was held at Miss Aitkenhead’s rooms, Park Road, where the customary toasts were honoured, Mr. and Mrs. Parker later leaving by car on a tour of the North Island. WOOLLIAMS—LAMPARD The wedding was celebrated in St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Rotorua, recently of Mabel, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Lampard, tJllswater, Victoria, to William James, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Woolliams, Malfroy Road, Rotorua. The Rev. Mr. Randerson performed the ceremony, and Miss D. Davies played the wedding music. The bride, who was given away by Mr. Geo. Lodge, wore a frock of ivory georgette and silver lace, with a petalled liem. Her embroidered tulle veil was held in place by a chapalet of silver lace, adorned with orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of spring flowers, asparagus and maidenhair fern, caught with a bow of tulle and ribbon. Miss Mona Smith, of Parnell, who was bridesmaid, wore a frock of briar rose georgette, with an uneven hemline, embroidered in gold pastel shades. Her headdress was of tulle, and she carried a. shower bouquet to tone. Mr. Les. Woolliams, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. ELLIOTT—McLEOD Mr. J. Elliott’s residence at Te lvopuru was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday, when Mrs. McLeod and Mr. George Elliott were married -by the Rev. M. McDonald. Mr. Barty Elliott was best man. At a wedding breakfast Mr. and Mrs. Elliott were the recipients of many congratu-, ltions nd the best of wishes for tlieir future happiness.
