TURAKINA REPORTED.— The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Turakina reached Colon on Saturday, en route from Liverpool to Zealand. The vessel has general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. She is due at Auckland on September 24. CITY OF BATAVIA REPORTS.—According to a radio message received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer City of Batavia is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland at 7.30 a.m. to-morrow from* New York. The vessel is bringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.
