TEAM FOR THE SOUTH Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. The following Rughy team has been selected for Wellington’s Southern tour: Heazlewood, Elliott, Broderick, Pickering, Chaney, Peterson, Mackenzie, Coman, Leys. Forwards: Jessup, Coulston, Shearer, McPherson, Sly, Graham, Williams, Claridge, Wilson, McLean. Blacker, O’Regan, Mackay, Ramson, and Edgar are not available. Porter’s omission is, no doubt, due to the fact that he will be representing New Zealand during the progress of the tour. The New Zealand team for the first test against New South Wales had a practice this afternoon. Mr. F. E. Sutherland, Auckland, will referee.
