“FROM PRIVATE SOURCES”

UNFAIR CRITICISM OF ALL BLACKS MR. FLETCHER EXPLAINS Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. Mr. T. A. Fletcher, a member of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union, referring to remarks attributed to him at Napier, says he made no suggestion that Press Association reports of the All Black tour should have been censored by the manager of the team. Such a proceeding was out of all question. Mr. Fletcher said that the criticism of M. Brownlie emanated from a private source, and had nothing to do with the Press Association, nor could any exception be taken to its reports. The criticism, of which complaint is made, did not appear in The Sun.
