Rugby test games between New Zealand and South Africa have been . _ , remarkably even. This cannot be better illustrated than by the fact that in the seven test games played, three in 1921 and four on the present tour, seven tries have been scored by each country. The honours are indeed even,
Altogether South Africa scored 53 and New Zealand 44. the difference being represented by a conversion, drop-kick and a goal from a mark. In the whole series of seven games there was only one goal from a mark, and that -was secured by South Africa, Points in the various tests were as follow:
