RECORD COAL LOSS
INDUSTRY IN SOUTH WALES (United P.A.—By Telegraph Copyright) Times Cable. Reed. 1.10 p.m. LONDON, Sunday. Tbe trading loss in the South Wales coalmining industry for the quarter ending in July totalled £805,372, the largest deficit since the operation of the present general wage agreement. The volume of labour employed is the smallest since 1904, 163,000, compared with 197,000 in the early part of 1927.
