Analyst’s Report On Australia’s Best Oil of Eucalyptus:— Double D Eucalyptus “ I have made a careful analysis of a bottle of your Double‘D’ Eucalyptus Oil, from stock, and find that it is of a high standard of purity. “ The medicinal property of Eucalyptus is Cineol, commonly known as Euealyptol, and as your brand contains as much as 30%, and never less than 70%, one can quite understand the beneficial results obtained by use of an oil containing sucb a high percentage of Euealyptol. “ The absence of Phellandrene placed it in the standard of purity as laid down by the British and American Pharmacopoeias, and, taken judiciously, this oil will prove invaluable—by internal application in the treatment of sore throats, hoarseness, cold in the head, coughs and colds—and as an external application in the treatment of sprains, rheumatism, stiffness of the joints, it will also be found a valuable agent as an inhalant in cases of influenza. As a disinfectant the Double ‘D’ Eucalyptus germicidal properties will prove it an invaluable agent forthispurpose.” “ F. H. MOLESWORTH, F.C.S., F.G.S., Assayer and Public Analyst under Pure Foods Act, 1908, late Lecturer in Chemistry, S.A. Government, and Technical College, Sydney.”
