NO POWER FOR BATTERY TOWN LIGHTS KEPT GOING (From Our Own Correspondent.) • WAIHI. To-day. As ™fult the fire at Horahora the W aihi mine and battery ai e idle to-day. Sufficient power is being generated at the Grand Junction plant to supplv the farmers and town lighting, but m> enough to keep the mine going. An effort will be made to start thebattcry thls afternoon if sufficient power can be obtained from one of the sut*. stations.
