WEATHER FAVOURABLE CONSIDERING SEASON
GOOD NEWS FOR FLYERS j Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. "P)R. E. KIDSON, Government Meteorologist, stated to-day that the weather conditions were not at present likely to be as favourable as those prevailing when the previous ill-fated flight was made, but at the same time, considering the season of the year, they might be as good as was reasonable to expect. Between the retreat of one cyclone and the advance of another was the time when the best conditions could be anticipated, and that was the position now. The meteorological office has notified the airmen that a cyclone is developing in the northern Tasman Sea, and a moderate one, of a westerly type, is situated in the southern Tasman, air conditions may prevail between these two disturbances.
