AT PLAZA SHORTLY The Plaza Theatre will present on the screen shortly one of the most entertaining and popular Broadway stage hits. It is “The Poor Nut,” in which Jack Mulhall appears in the title role. “The Poor Nut” was one of the bestliked plays of recent years in New York—standing out because of its cleanness and wholesome comedy. It is a romance laid in a small-town college. Jess Smith produced it with Richard Wallace directing. It was in a big way. An entire university—the
University of Arizona was turned over to First National for the making of the exterior scenes, and the university irranged to hold its biggest track meet of the year in order that' the meet could be used as actual scenes in the picture. It is
a picture that carries plenty of thrills as well as heart-interest and comedy. Charles Murray is entrusted with the major comedy role. Jane Winton. Jean Arthur and many other prominent players are in the cast.
