ANNUAL RACE MEETING WAS A RECORD (From Our Oxen Correspondent) ROTORUA, Friday. The annual meeting of the Rotorua Racing Club was held last evening. Or. Bertram presiding. The report disclosed that the club had had a very prosperous year. The annual race meeting held in February was a record for the club and both the gate ; takings and totalisator figures showed an increase. The financial statement disclosed a i very satisfactory position. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. F. F. Hockly, M.P.: president, Or. Bertram; vice-presidents. I Messrs. A. H. Tripe and W. H. Wad-c----row; committee, Messrs. L. C. Ryan, C. A. Clarke, F. Goodson, O. Jervis, W. Loffley; lion, surgeons, Ors. Hay and Bertram; hon. solicitor, Mr. G. Urquhart; hon. surveyor, Mr. H. Tai Mitchell; hon. timekeeper, Mr. H. W. Howden; treasurer, Mr. W. W. P. Hall.
