PAINTING COMPETITION
’J'HE prize for the last painting competition has been won by J . l ?, e V v Sunbeam, Joyce Sheath, Hillsborough Road, Mount Roskill, 3ged 11, for a dainty piece of work in which the garden is depicted in natural colourings. Joyce has paid particular attention to her shading and is to be congratulated on her artistic painting. Next in merit are the entries of Walter Pearce, Grey Lynn; Noel Lough, Royal Oak; Ada Wilkins.
