TJOBERT GEDDES, the j young Aucklander who i is making a name for him- | self overseas on the stage, I has decided to leave London i for New York. , He recently played juve- J nile in “Marjoline” at the j Gaiety Theatre, London, hut j apparently it was not a sue- I cess, as it was taken off j after a comparatively short j run. 1 The critics had nothing j but praise for Mr. Geddes’s j voice, but the play was not | a good box-office draw. Mr. Geddes will leave for | New York on September 3, j and it is almost certain that | he will receive an engage- | ment as soon as he reaches ] his destination. j
