BELL—DUNN

Christ’s Church, Alfriston, was the scene of the wedding on Wednesday afternoon last of Edna May, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Dunn, of Alfriston, to Stanley, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Bell, of Gisborne. The Rev. W. UI. Rattray, of Clevedon. performed the ceremony, and Mrs. Marks presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of pale'pink crepe de chine, trimmed with a silver spray. Her veil of honiton lace was daintily embroidered and caught to the head by a corenet of orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of spring flowers. Mis Madge Dunn and Miss Audrey Dunn, sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids, attired in frocks of apple-green and pale lavender crepe de chine, respectively. Both wore head-dresses of tulle to match their frocks and carried floral bouquets to tone. Mr. Robert Bell, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. A reception was held in the Alfriston Public Hall, which was decorated for the occasion with streamers and spring flowers. The bride’s mother received the guests. Her frock was of bronzegold silk marocain, and she wore a black silk coat, and a black hat. A posy of violets and anemones was carried. The bridegroom’s mother was attired in an ensemble suit of vieux rose hatienne trimmed with grey fur. She wore a black hat and carried a posy.
