BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICES JgOROUGH OF DEV ON FORT. BY-LAW, 1928. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Devonport Borough Council, held on the 15th day of August, 1925, the following Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on WEDNESDAY, the 12th day of September, 1928, at 7 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Marine Square, Devonport:— RESOLUTION. "That the Devonport Borough Council make the following By-law in pursuance of the powers and provisions contained in "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” and its amendments, together with all and every other powers in that behalf contained in any other Act enabling the said Council in that behalf. The Devonport Borough Council doth hereby by way of Special Order make the following By-law. This By-law shall be read with and as extending and amending By-law No. 1 of the Borough of Devonport, made on the 31st day of March, 1920. The purport of the By-law is:— 1— Re Water Meters: To revoke Sections 4,5, and 7 of By-law 1927, and enact new By-laws to provide for the installation of Water Meters, and levy an annual charge of 7s 6d for meters supplied by the Council. 2 Re Poultry: To restrict the provisions of Sections 223 and 224 of By-law No. 1, 1926, to provide that not more than 20 head of Poultry shall be kept oil any one section. A copy of the proposed By-law is deposited at the Council Office, Marine Square, and may be Inspected by the public during office hours A. E. WILSON. Town Clerk. Devonport, August 15, 1928.
