MUNICIPAL BAND
AT ZOO TO-MORROW The Municipal Band plays at the Zoological Park to-morrow (Sunday) afternoon at 3 o’clock. A bright programme includes the overture Right Cavalry,” hymn, “Lights Abode, Celestial Salem,” waltz. “Tout Paris.” selections “Princess Ida” and •Preciosa,” “Beautiful Danube” waltz, “La Serenata” and the stirring marches The Advance Guard,” “Her Bright Smile.” and “Sergeants of the Guard.” In the evening the band will give a musical recital in the Town Hall at 8.30, when some popular and charming numbers will be played, including the “Raymond” overture, and selections from the “Bohemian Girl” and “The Pirates of Penzance.”
Phillip Strange, an English actor, has been signed to play the role of D’Alcacer, the Spanish nobleman in Joseph Conrad’s “The Rescue.” Ronald Colman is starred in this picture and Ejk Lily Damita, Mr. Goldwyn’s new H|French player, will play opposite him
