GREEN MILL, MILFORD
“A THIEF IN THE DARK” “A Thief in the Dark” is the picture to be shown at the Green Mill Theatre, Milford, this evening. “A Thief in the Dark” has as its motif the regeneration of a handsome young circus crook, a strong love theme and the background of the circus sideshow tents, where a fake crystal-gazer “materialises” the “spirits” of his patrons’ departed relatives. The locale is in the sunny South, where the wagon show sets up its tents and a “mob” of circus grafters kills an eccentric jewel collector in efforts to locate a fortune in gems. George Meeker and Marjorie Beebe are the featured players.
