WAITEMATA’S 45TH YEAR ANNUAL MEETING HELD Lack of training Is held responsible for the somewhat poor season experienced by the Waitemata Boating Club last year, according to the report presented at the 45th annual meeting of the club, presided over last evening bv Mr. G. H. Reston, a life member. The report stated that the club’s finances were not strong but that Practically all obligations had been disposed of and the plant was free debt. Reference was made to the lt- ip undertaken by the club’s senior four during last season, when the Stewards’ Cup was won at the Henly-°n-Yarra regatta, Melbourne. The fact that, owing to the increased Waterfront development contemplated by the Harbour Board, a new site w ould have to bo found for the club frouse was mentioned by the chairand members of the committee stated that the question was receives earnest consideration. It seemed Probable that the tenure qf the preset site would last for at least an°ther year. Congratulations were extended to JfJ® commodore.
