M. j O’CaJlaghan. vicar of this parish from j ISS9 to 1916. Presented by his old parishioners.” At the conclusion of the meeting a , vote of appreciation was passed to Airs. E. F. Adams, who so ably organ- ! ised the collection for the memorial. The Masonic fraternity mustered in full force at the Corinthian Lodge Hall on Tuesday evening, when the installation of Bro. G. H. Shaw as master of the lodge, took place. The District Grand Dodge of Auck- ; land was represented by Wor. Bro. C. I Major. Interesting addresses were j given by the deputy grandmaster (Bro 1 Major), and Wor. Bros. W. W. Daw | and R. P. Lusk. During the evening Wor. Bro. X. GALLIC’S MOVEMENTS.—The Shaw. Savill and Albion Company advises that the steamer Gallic arrived at New Plymouth to-day from Lyttelton and leaves to-morrow for Wanganui, thence Wellington, Napier, Waikokopu and Auckland to complete her loading. She is due here on September 15 and is to clear this port finally on September 19 for New York, Boston, Avonmoutli, Liverpool and Glasgow. via Panama. L. B. Rarawa. which sailed last evening for New Plymouth, erturns again at 7.30 a.m. to-morrow. The Arapawa is due at Onehunga at six o'clock to-morrow morning from Raglan and Kawhia. She sails at 4 p.m. on Monday for the same ports. The Hauturu left Auckland last evening for Onehunga via Ilokianga. The Anchor steamer Kaitoa sailed from Onehunga last evening and crossed the Manukau Bar at midnight for Nelson and Picton. The vessel is due back again next week.
