IDLE BOY ARRESTED
CHARGED WITH STEALING LAUNCHES (Special to THE SUN) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. A boy, aged about 15, was arrested this morning in connection with the removal of the launches Waitea and Pacific from their moorings at New Brighton early on Tuesday morning. The constable saw the boy loitering about the wharves at Lyttelton. It is said that his home is at South Brighton.
When the boy appeared in the Children’s Court this afternoon he told Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., that he had left school but had nothing to do. He was remanded until Saturday.
