FLIGHT BEGINS HOUR EARLIER

(United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 10.55 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. FEVERISH haste is being displayed at the Richmond airdrome, to get the Southern Cross in good trim for the Tasman flight. The floodlights will be tested to-night. These will enable the Southern Cross to take off safely on Sunday night at nine o’clock, instead of ten o’clock as previously cabled.
